Korea's software industry exhibition 'Softwave 2020', which runs until today (4th of December), is becoming a venue to showcase new technologies in the post-corona, non-face-to-

face era.

Hosted by the Softwave Organizing Committee and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. At this 

exhibition, large, medium, and small software companies, which are known to be the best in Korea, gather together to show off their technological prowess.

Introducing noteworthy software companies that can be met at the site of ‘Softwave 2020’, where about 200 companies participated.

◇AIDOT - Cervical cancer AI solution

AIDOT is a medical ICT company that focuses on introducing cervical cancer AI solutions.

AIDOT's Cerviray A.I solution developed its own algorithm by collecting a large amount of cervical cancer DB.

The accuracy of this solution reaches 93%, which is almost the same as reading result by a specialist, and it is possible to receive a diagnosis from a specialist online by sending an 

image through remote medical treatment.

An AIDOT official said, “Currently, medical infrastructure and human resources are concentrated in developed countries, and developing countries are in dire need, so we hope that 

more screenings will be done through the telemedicine system.”

‘Softwave 2020’ is being held at COEX Hall B in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul until the 4th of July with full attention to COVID-19 quarantine and safety with free admission.
